Jochen has a diploma in fine arts from his studies in Germany. His current practise focuses on the beauty of the natural world and the artistic expressions used to describe it in a historical and contemporary context. Visually stunning images are the result which are both painterly as well as photographically representative and descriptive.
For the September Art Trail Jochen is working on a series of these images which he calls Photopaintings.
The framing workshop:
ASA has been working for Sydney’s museums and public art galleries as well as private clients since 1992 and we are now lucky to have this outstanding company here in the Hawkesbury.
“Picture frames are not only display solutions for artworks. Frames also need to have the function of keeping artworks safe and in good condition while on display. This is specifically important for art or objects of value, be it monetary, historical or sentimental. Archival museum standard materials, UV filtering glazing solutions to prevent fading and fully reversible art attachment within a frame are the focus of any work of ASA.”
The frame selection is vast and always updated to reflect the latest looks and trends.
ASA Conservation Framing Pty Ltd is part of the Fine Art Trade Guild and Jochen is a certified and guild commended framer with a background of museum quality archival framing.
